Overview |
|
The course is designed to raise the awareness of employees in all areas of industry but is particularly aimed at those who would not normally regard themselves as involved with "hazardous" activities, such as office staff. |

Aims |
|
To raise the awareness of workers with regard to both their legal and moral obligations, thereby helping to ensure their safety and the safety of those who might reasonably be expected to be affected by their acts and omissions |

Objectives |
|
The course will meet the requirements of current relevant legislation, by ensuring that delegates are able to: |
|
· Identify the significant hazards associated with their work place. |
|
· State the working practices needed to remove or mitigate the hazards. |
|
· State the types of protective clothing and equipment available. |
|
· State the principle obligations placed upon them by current Health and Safety Legislation. |
|
· State and correctly interpret the relevant Company procedures dealing with the health, safety and welfare of employees. |

Course Duration and Fees |

£550, exclusive of value added tax, but inclusive of hand outs and travel up to 100 miles for a maximum of 12 candidates. |
